Da Lucio has been run by Luciano and Lisa for over 5 years. This family run Italian restaurant in Maple Road is always buzzing and busy. The food is reasonably priced and always top quality. As well as the usual types of Italian food you might expect, there is always a chalk-board full of seasonal chef’s specialities. They do a great pizza and the fish dishes are always top quality. The restaurant opens for lunch and dinner, although it isn’t open on a Sunday evening and is closed all day Monday. Take away food is also available. If you are one of the few people who haven’t been to Da Lucio – where have you been? Great food, great wine, great atmosphere and great staff.

Great local restaurant at a reasonable price
This is no French Table, but it never lets you down. The food is good with a nice variety and plenty of specials. The staff are helpful and friendly and the house wine is decent. I always feel comfortable there and always enjoy the food. Thumbs up from me.

alternative Italian experience...
Generally many Italian restaurants around are the ones that keep popping up on our high streets but I think Da Lucio slightly sets itself from the rest in many ways. The menu is vaster, and is not simply just down to a few common pastas and pizzas. We came in and had the Grigliata di Pesce and were really impressed with the starters. If youre yearning an alternative Italian experience, this is a place that is worth going to.
