Surbiton's Maple Village WI Spring Fayre

There were plenty of stalls selling the traditional cakes, jams and knitted items. There was also a massage area, photographs for sale and hand made cards. I even met Kathy McAllister from the American Women in Surrey group who were running a stall selling handmade cards. As well as raising money for the WI, they were raising money for Momentum http://tinyurl.com/3yl4g7u , a charity that supports children with cancer and life limiting conditions. The Maple Village WI are generally a younger group than you might expect and they put on a lot of events. They meet up every month in the Surbiton Flyer and are always looking for new members.
