The parade of shops by Berrylands Station (Chiltern Drive) is easy to miss, unless you live nearby or use Berrylands Station. Chiltern Drive has suffered from having too many empty shops and bland offices over the years. It's missing a few trees, which haven't been replaced by the Council and Berrylands Station could do with a facelift. But, despite all of that, there are some nice shops and services here. The Book Store sells second hand books, although it rarely opens on a Saturday. The Walnut is a new Cafe - this parade has needed one for quite a while. There's also Artefact a good quality picture framer and Elsa Brown Flowerstyle for flowers and plants. On top of this there's a good newsagent, a Doctors Surgery and a couple of hairdressers and beauty salons. With the arrival of The Walnut Cafe and a bit of help from Kingston Council (don't hold your breath!), this parade could go from strength to strength. If you are passing, do try and support your local shops.
