Are you stuck for things to do with the kids this half term? We’ve done the research on what’s happening locally so you don’t have to! Read on for ideas on where to go...

 Hampton Court Palace

A visit to this amazing Tudor palace has something for kids young and old. The famous maze, built in 1690 from two-metre high walls of yew, has half a mile of winding paths and covers a third of an acre. It takes around 20 minutes to reach the centre. If it’s raining, take tiny tots to the family room where under-fives can bounce off some energy in the ball pool, play with soft toys and large lego. Older kids can follow the ghostly children’s trail or dress up in Tudor costume for a reproduction of the wedding between Henry VIII and his last wife Kateryn Parr. It costs £38 for a family of two adults and up to three children, £14 per adult and £7 for under-16s. Call 0844 482 7777

They cost £8 per child and kids will enjoy making sweet and savoury scones while learning about healthy eating and balanced diets.
