Totally agree with peachgirl and MCSolaar about the loud music. It's also the wrong type of music for that type of bar and there's no place to dance if that's what they are trying to encourage. I've given up going here now when it gets late. I also agree with peachgirl about the food which was once great, but now bog standard. It's still a nice place, but it's gradually going down hill.

Hotel Bosco is a 4 star boutique hotel offering a sanctuary for guests who desire that little bit extra when staying away from home.

Bosco is a great place to meet up with friends for a few cocktail or a few glasses of wine. The cocktails are great, the service is good and the bar is really comfortable and relaxing. It's unfortunate that the menu has changed to some American style menu, whereas a couple of years ago it had a fantastic dinner menu. I agree with MCSolaar - the music is horrible and you can't hear what your friends are saying. Can you hear us Bosco?!
Right opposite Surbiton station is this brilliant hotel. The rooms are so well designed, so modern, so chic. The whole experience is one to savour right from the restaurant to the stay. I couldnt believe this was in Surbiton when I booked this place, pleasantly surprised.
First visit here two weeks ago - it was quite late when we arrived so would be interested to know what it's like earlier on - arrived around 11.30pm - basically was really loud house music, no one was dancing (it wasn't really the kind of music many get up and dance to) and not really a specific dance floor anyway - but the sort of music you can't easily talk over, so maybe am showing my age but that annoyed me. It annoyed me more when I went up and requested a few songs that were non-house and the guy said yes sure and then blatantly ignored my requests! Everyone around me thought the music was cr*p too. But there must be lots of people who like it so it's subjective - maybe another night would be better for music. Cocktails were delicious - had a porn star martini (i think that was the name) and it was lovely. And got a seat - a miracle as it was reasonably busy. I wonder if you can hear the music from the hotel rooms?
