Plan ahead for St Valentines Day in Surbiton

If you want to treat someone on St Valentine’s Day on 14th February, then it’s likely that you will need to book ahead.

Restaurants - The French Table is the place to go for Valentines evening, but you will struggle to get a table now.  If you do fancy going French, try L’esperance in Ewell Road.

If you would rather go to an Indian restaurant, then Maya is probably the most glamorous around.

There are quite a few Italian restaurants that are suitable for a romantic evening; try the Italian Taste in Victoria Road or Casa Viva on the Ewell Road.  Da Lucio in Maple Road is good, although it can get quite packed and noisy – not necessarily what you want if you’re planning to propose!

Flowers - Surbiton has some great flower shops.  They have good quality flowers for reasonable prices.  However, prices do rise when it comes to the 14th February.  If you want the traditional red roses or want them to deliver, you will need to book ahead.   Try Simon Smith Flowers (Living Room) or Gardenia for central Surbiton, or try Surrey Flower Services if you’re nearer to Tolworth.

Jewellery - If you’re really serious you can buy diamond jewellery (engagement ring?!) from FP Turner.  Or try Gumus for some more modern jewellery at very reasonable prices.

As we mentioned earlier, book ahead to avoid disappointment.  If these tips prove to be successful, please don’t forget to invite Surbitonpeople to the wedding!
