Only third of electorate show for Berryland's by-election

Just over a third of eligible voters showed up for last night's Berrylands by-election.

Sushila Abraham managed to keep the seat with 948 votes for the Lib Dems.

Mike head for the Conservatives was a close second with over 700 votes.  

He was followed by Tony Banks, the Labour Party Candidate who managed to attract 455 votes. 

UKIP's Michael Gerard Watson, managed to obtain 175 votes, followed by Ryan Coley, from the Green Party who got 112 votes. 

There's 7138 voters in Berrylands, out of that only 2451 showed up to the vote, which is just over a third.
