i went to L'esperance French restaurant of the surbiton end of Ewell Rd last week. We had fantastic food and fantastic service, all at a very reasonable price. The only down side was that it was really empty. I just checked the surbiton people restaurant guide and it is not even listed! I moved to surbiton 3 months ago and I am slowly getting through every restaurant in surbiton and I have to say, this is my favourite so far. Going to the French Table soon though so sure it won't be my favourite for long, but even so, I would really recommend this place.

Hi Nadia. I haven't been for a while, but it was good when I last went and was also fairly empty. We did ask them to sign up their business for free, but they haven't gotr around to it. Oh that's a shame, not taking advantage of free publicity, probably has a lot to do with why they are so quiet! They also do not have a website which again is a huge waste of a publicity opportunity. I am going there this thursday for a family birthday and perhaps I will mention that i wanted to write a review on surbiton people but was not able to as they do not feature...

We haven't been in Surbiton long either but have been to L'esperance twice and had great food on both occasions. Beautiful building too. Would be great to see it a bit busier
