A new poll by the Evening Standard seems to show that many Londoners will not support the Lib Dems at the next election due to power-sharing deal with the Conservatives. Local Lib Dem MP Ed Davey is confident that people will give the Lib Dems the benefit of the doubt and will wait to see what the coalition delivers. But what do you think?

Are we about to see a return to the days when there was strong support for the local Labour Party?

Have you voted Lib Dem locally? If so, are you more or less likely to vote for them in the future as a result of the coalition?

It's too early to tell if Ed Millibrother will be any good as a leader, but i guess this is a big opportunity for the local Labour party to make their move. Is there still a Labour party in Kingston? I don't recall receiving any leaflets from them at the recent elections and i certainly didn't have a labour candidate knock on my door.

I can't see Labour ever doing anything in Surbiton or Kingston, they never have done and they never will do. This is now Lib Dem land and I can't see it changing anytime soon.
