The Lib Dems might have good record but now the national leadership is part of the Coalition with Tories. Will people hold this against them? Will it allow the Tories an easy win? Labour, Greens and CPA have no chance, but what of the Independant? Usually they trail in last. I just wonder if for once the voters might want to support a person who doesn't answer to party HQ...

I reckon it will be close with the Liberal Democrats winning. The Labour candidate is doing loads of work and we haven't had that for a long time in this area. The area near to Tolworth always used to return Labour councillors, so who knows?

I met the Labour candidate at the weekend and was very impressed. She really has her head screwed on and was very keen. Unusually Labour seem to be taking this election very seriously. I'm not usually a labour voter, but I'm tempted this time. I think her name was Kate or Katie.
I am really angry at the Liberal Democrat candidate for his leaflets and the letter he sent me last week. As someone who lives near to Surbiton Hospital, I'm dumbfounded as to the rubbish he has written and am annoyed that he is taking us all for fools. The area around the new school and NHS services will be overcome with traffic and children are being unfairly treated by cramming a school into this small area. I wouldn't want my children to go to such a school where there is no space to move and play. We all laughed when we were first told of the plan to put a playground on the roof of the school, but it's actually going to happen in Surbiton. I doubt very much that he has ever been to one of the planning meetings otherwise he could not spout such tripe. I certainly didn't see him there. He ignored the views and wishes of residents and now expects me to vote for him – no way.
