Here we Go! Does any one think that the old Liberty Bell Restaurant in Ewell Road should rise again?
I would be interested to hear some local opinions.
Liberty Bell Restaurant was famous for good value and a great atmosphere also lovely food!
The Restaurant was sold and has been Italian, French neither of which have been successful!
I may have the chance of raising it like a Phoenix, should i bother?
I may need a partner/ chef, would any restaurateur be interested in taking it over?.......

Yes! Please bother.

It was such a great place when it was Liberty Bell, Although I haven't been to the others since it went.

This would be a great thing if you could bring back the unique style of food they served up.

Out of curiosity, what has sparked this idea?

Also, what are other people's thoughts on this?

I agree, they were my favourite! The rich, red sauce!

Is there a long lost recipe book somewhere? A chef? Anyone who could bring back the menu?

I have lived on the Ewell Road for 14 years and never went anywhere else. Missed it ever since and only talking yesterday about how they had such a successful formula and if someone just did the same it would be wonderful.

Looks like the scaffolding is coming down and the building revamped. Does anybody know what may be opening ?

Finally the scaffolding is down but the upstairs signage must hopefully follow suit. someone speak to them. From what i gather its becoming a local english eatery me thinks....

bring back the ribs, clearly this was loved by everyone... i am desperate to see if they do something nice as looking to develop my own business in the area
