Does anyone know the contact details for Matt who owns the pie shop on Brighton Road that is closed. I think that would make a fantastic Caribbean takeaway selling rice and peas, pineapple sweet potato, steamed fish and coconut vegetables as well as healthy coconut and other punches.

Great idea, Surbiton needs more takeaways, that aren't pizza, indian or chinese, shame about the pie shop though!!

I don't know Matt, but believe he has local roots so maybe someone on here will. The Pie Shop was welcomed with excitement by many people, so it was a shame that it didn't last. The main window was borded up a few days ago, so I assume that the window had been smashed. I agree with Rubber Duckiee, that a take-away with a difference would be very much welcomed in Surbiton.
