Did you witness an assault outside the Princess Alice Hospice charity shop?
This bus stop has been home to quite a few fights and arguments over the last few years while drunk people wait for late night buses. However, this particular attack seems to have been worse than normal attacks as the Police cordoned off the pavement and bus stop while searching the area for an implements involved in the attack.

I think that there's a bit of truth to both of your comments. The Chessington lot seem to come and spend the evening at the Coronation Hall or Corky's and often casue trouble when queuing at that bus stop in the evening. I didn't think that the YMCA was causing as much trouble as it used to, but some of the herberts hanging around outside the YMCA are trouble waiting to happen.

ReportSadly I think the problem is closer to home! It seems to me that the majority of trouble makers live in Surbiton, most of them being from the YMCA, or so I believe

ReportSorry, I was being a bit naughty. Banning the 71 would keep those Chessington types out of Surbiton.

ReportI often wait with my friend at this bus stop and it can be quite frightening. Can we start a petition to ban the 71 bus from Surbiton? : ¬)
