World boxing champions are coming to Surbiton to support a charity event at the Saucy Kettle Pub. The pub in Brighton Road has previously put on a similar charity boxing event, which was a huge success.

World Boxing Champs come to Surbiton: 'Terrible' Tim Witherspoon at the Saucy Kettle
The event takes place on the evening of the 6th December. There will be talks, interviews and a chance to meet world boxing superstars such as Tim Witherspoon and John H Stracey. Further boxing stars will be announced nearer the time. Check out the amazing sporting memoribilia on the walls and bid for some of your own in the live auction.
The event will raise money for th DEBRA charity. In case you are not aware, they are a charity which helps those suffering from Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), which is a genetic condition causing blistering and shearing of the skin and internal linings from the gentlest friction, often from simple day to day activities.
Tickets for the event cost £5 on the door. Or you can pre-pay £12 for entry and a Pie & Mash dinner. For more information or to book call Hannah Weston on 01344 467785.
The previous charity boxing event held at the Kettle was a very entertaining evening that raised lots of money for charity. If you have any interest in boxing whatsoever, then make sure you get this date in your diary. Surbiton is truly lucky to have this opportunity to mix with such famous world boxing stars in such an intimate local venue.

I'll be there for this. As the review says, the previous boxing event at the Sauce was a huge success. Get there early as it will be very busy. Good charity too.
