Victorian street lamps in Surbiton to be replaced

Kingston Borough Council are to replace the Victorian style street lamps on Surbiton highstreet with a more contemporary design.

The state of lamps on Surbiton High Street
It's all part of the Surbiton Town Centre improvement strategy which was launhed in 2008.
People living in the area being asked their opinion on a number of design. An exhibition is being laid on at the YMCA centre on Victoria Road.
Opinions can also be submitted via post to Kingston Council up until the 2nd November 2012.
