Surbiton student aiming for Premier football as QPR pounce

A Surbiton student is set to join QPR with on a two year deal with the Premier League team.  It is being reported that David Fitzpatrick is expected to sign the deal this week.

David, aged 16, has already had short spells with Staines Town, Hampton & Richmond Borough and Fulham, but this two-year deal gives him a shot at the big time.  As an attacking midfielder, he will have plenty of chances to score some goals and make a name for himself. 

His mum is quite rightly excited at the prospect of his burgeoning career.  We wish David the best of luck in what will hopefully become his career.  QPR are now a top football club, with some very big investors.  Presumably he didn't get an offer from Brentford FC.
