Surbiton residents Honoured by the Mayor

A number of Surbiton Residents have been honoured by the Mayor in recognition of their contribution to the world we live in.  

Peter Day, was recognised for his tireless efforts and hard work for the Sunray Community Association and Centre.

Dr Alan Lyons has given 45 years' service to Kingston, Surbiton and District Synagogue and his contribution to the local community.

And Jackie Paddon has served 32 years' service from Cub Scout Leader at 1st Surbiton "Sealion" Sea Scouts to Royal Kingston District Scouts Secretary.

Mayor of Kingston, Councillor Mary Heathcote OBE said: "It was a privilege to meet a group of people, a blend of youth and experience, who have contributed hugely to the quality of life in our borough and who are model volunteers." 

"Their special recognition by the people of Kingston is well-deserved."
