Surbiton Station Poppy Collection

I noticed this poster in Surbiton Station today.  It highlighted the amount raised by the collector(s) during the week prior to Remembrance Sunday.

Every year, they sell poppies inside Surbiton Station and it's a great idea to let everyone know how much they raised.  It's not so easy to find places to buy poppies these days, so they (it's usually the same man) provide a good service.  The total amount raised in the station this year was £1,525.85.
