It may be cold outside but visitors to this Saturday's Surbiton Farmers' Market are guaranteed a warm welcome and the freshest farm produce to take home and enjoy.

Here's just a selection of what our stallholders will be offering this month.

Secretts Farm of Milford, Surrey will have spring flowers and seasonal vegetables such as purple sprouting broccoli, along with gourmet salad leaves rarely seen on the high street.

Allingham Farm, which sells only through farmers' markets, has stunning West Sussex-bred hogget (year-old lamb).

Stallholder John Day says the flavour is superior to any new season lamb.

Nut Knowle Farm specialises in goat's milk cheeses hand made in its East Sussex dairy.

This month it will be taking orders for whole milk-fed kids, a traditional Easter feast throughout Europe Saturday's market will also look a bit different: we'll have a new stall lay-out to accommodate the new pedestrian crossing in Maple Road and allow better access to the market from the town centre and station.

The Maple Road businesses will be open as usual for breakfast, coffee and lunch.

This month's charity stall is Surrey Wildlife Trust which will be raising awareness of its conservation work and nature reserves.
