New street lamps for Tolworth Broadway

Kingston Council has started work on providing Tolworth Broadway with a set of new street lamps.  

Walking along the high-street, you'll notice all the colours of rainbow as contractors, May Gurney, mark out where the changes will be made.

Motorists could face disruption thanks to temporary lights and parking restrictions until the middle of November.  

The new lights are said to reduce energy and maintenance costs whilst providing a better standard of lighting.

Although this work is not being carried as part of the Tolworth Greenway scheme it has been designed in conjunction with the regeneration project.
