What next for Maple Road shop?

The parade of shops in Maple Road has improved dramatically over recent years. Now one of the shops, The Printed Clothing Company, is set to move. What will replace it?

Maple Road in Surbiton: what next for the Printed Clothing Company shop?
The owners of the shops, restaurants, and bars have worked well together over the last year to make the Maple Road parade a destination of choice. During the Royal Wedding celebrations, they put out the flags when Victoria Road was drab and flagless. They have also benefitted from the highly successful Farmers' Market and the trade that brings in.
The only eyesore in the parade is the old Mahal Wine Store which has been boarded up for what seems like a couple of years. The Maple Road parade of shops seems to be heading in an up-market direction, so it will be interesting to see what company decides to take over the soon to be empty Printed Clothing Company. The Printed Clothing Company is not disappearing altogether though, as they are moving to a new shop unit at 123 Ewell Road, Surbiton.
Whereas there are empty shop units that seem hard to sell or let in Victoria Road and Brighton Road, we don't expect this location to stay empty for long. What type of business would you like to see take over this prime location in Maple Road?

ReportI agree, a men's clothes shop would be good as Motto has now closed. Or a DIY place so that I don't need to drive miles to B&Q for a few nails. Or a proper Italian delicatessen!

ReportA decent little menswear shop or an independent furniture store (a bit like Sable). We definitely don't need another coffee shop.
