Gold rush for Kingston at the Special Olympics

On Saturday 22 September, the Special Olympics Surrey – Kingston Athletics Squad travelled to Wodson Sports Centre, Hertfordshire, to compete in the Special Olympics Eastern Regional Athletics Competition.
With six athletes, 'Team Kingston' was one of the smallest squads but that did not prevent them from dominating the medals table. Of the 11 medals up for grabs, Kingston athletes came home with a haul of nine: six gold,two silver and one bronze.
