Footwear Discount Centre opens in Surbiton

Footwear Discount Centre has opened its new Surbiton shop in Ewell Road.  The new shoe shop takes over the double-fronted shop at 157-159 Ewell Road, that has been empty for some time.

As the name suggests the shoes are cheap and they can't order specific sizes.  The shop is one of several similar shops in London that are supplied from a central warehouse, so they can't order specific sizes and have little control over what stock is delivered.  We did notice that the larger sizes sold out fairly quick.  However, as the name suggests they are cheap and there is plenty of stock to look around.  They stock shoes for men, women and children. 

Although some of the shoes on sale aren't necessarily top quality, they do also sell some famous names such as Hush Puppies.  As well as smart and casual shoes, they also sell steel toe-cap work boots, walking shoes, wellington boots, trainers and slippers. Prices start at about £5 and rise to about £30 or £40.

Although this is a 'pile it high and sell it cheap' operation, the shop is nicely planned and the staff are very helpful.  It's well worth a visit to have a look around; and as different stock comes in throughout the week – it's worth popping in whenever you're passing too.  The shop is open from 9:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Saturday and closed on Sundays.  Good luck to the Footwear Discount Centre.
