Double celebration for 1st Hook Scouts

1st Hook Scouts Club is having a double celebration this year.

They're marking their 90th year of being prepared, as well as the bands 75th Birthday.

A series of events are being set up throughout the year from their Verona Drive HQ in Tolworth.  

24th March – Buffet lunch at HQ for current and former members. Followed by Band Concert and awards at Epsom Playhouse. It is hoped that many former members of the band will be able to attend the lunch and concert.

24th-27th May – Group Family Camp at Blackland Farm, Nr East Grinstead.  

Full details have yet to be formalized but is it hoped all section members will be able to attend at some point over the weekend and that we will be joined by supporters, former members and friends of the group.

They're are planning to hold the AGM on the Sunday afternoon.

14th September – Group Dinner at Bridge House Hotel, Reigate Hill, Reigate. Cost likely to be c£40 per head.

6th October - Anniversary Church Parade.
