Does Tolworth have talent?

Friends of Tolworth Junior School is out to prove that it does!

The group is staging a talent show at the cornerHOUSE for pupils of the Douglas Road school.

Twelve pupils will perform before three judges who will give their opinions on each act and then select a winner and two runners up.

Director Hannah White said: "The show is of the same format as the popular TV show Britain's Got Talent."

"A compere (one teacher and one pupil) will be inviting peformers who have been selected through a series of auditions in the school to come and perform for the audience."

"Tolworth's Got Talent is an invitation to the community to come and see (and vote for) the children of Tolworth Junior School as they showcase their creativity and talents in this fun, participative and exciting event full of music, dance and judges comments."

Hannah said she had directed and produced a talent show at the school before, but this was the first time a Tolworth's Got Talent show had been performed at the community arts centre.

There will also be musical entertainment provided during the interval as well as stalls run by FOTJ to raise funds to support the school.
