The Budget 2013: What you wanted and what you got.
During the week I sent out a request to find out what people wanted to see change.
@do_lunch tweeted saying: "a firm grip on our local council tax. An effective enterprise fund without credit scoring - based on the merits of the idea."
@cmsj echoed this by adding: "something to ease our crazy council tax bills!"
@TrippyPip said: "Lower taxes, more cuts in the welfare budget."
But, in short the key points highlighted that the deficit is falling, but forecasts are higher than December's.
Bad news, debt is rising and by more than previously forecast.
Growth is 0.6% this year, down from a forecast of 1.2%.
Tax allowance raised to £10,000 from next year with Employer NI cut by £2,000.
Tax-free childcare vouchers worth £1,200 per child and the bank of England gets an updated remit.
So is everyone happy with the budget in the end? Leave your comments below.
